Dow Chemical has completed its multi-year polyols expansion project at the company’s Terneuzen, Netherlands plant. The additional capability will support customers in Europe as well as in other growing regions such as India, the Middle East and Africa. The downstream markets that will benefit from this expanded capacity, which includes specialty polyols, are furniture and bedding; coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers; building and construction; and automotive industries. The capability expansion makes Terneuzen the largest and most flexible of Dow’s 11 polyols production sites.
